Well, the main reason for it not working has such a simple fix! Half the time, when we're trying to copy something, it doesn't actually get copied. When you highlight the material you want to copy, you right click it and click Copy, Well, sometimes that click doesn't go through like you thought it did. Either the mouse slips or you just didn't get a good click. The same thing happens when you're using the keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V). Your finger either slips off the key or the keyboard just doesn't record what you did.

When that happens, you go to Paste and you see that it's not an option. You find that it is grayed out. So, what do you do now? Well, you'll have to go back and copy everything again and just start over. That's the only thing you really can do. I know it's a pain, but it happens to all of us at one point or another. Don't fret. Just be happy there's an easy fix for it!

One way to copy your entire screen on a PC is to hit the "Print Screen" button (near the "Delete" key"). Then "Paste" (Control + V) into a blank document in Paint. "Print Screen" is essentially like copying your entire screen.
