I have put the game in but doenst load ,i have tryed going into my control panel and finding the file no luck,what else can i do ? Thanks Oh and i have plenty off space free and the pc is xp .

The copy is a real copy i brought from argos price £29.99 not a fake thanks

Did you simply put the disc in ? Did you RUN the installer (on teh CD drive) ?
If not it is NOT installed yet.
Is it a genuine disc ? If not, go buy one. If so read the manual it comes with
EDIT : OK; so it's a genuine, just checking :D
Insert CD, let it read the disc.
Open My Computer and then the CD drive
Look for an INSTALL.EXE or AUTORUN.EXE file, or something similar
Double click it.
OR if you see autorun.inf try right clicking it and select INSTALL
If this still doesn't install it, look on box, might be a problem with the disc, should be a helpline No for software house to call or a website for it

Assuming your putting the cd and it is not loading
Go to My computer
Click on the drive your disk is on. d-e-f
If it doesn't run then and doesn't open a new folder right click the disk and select explore
Once in the folder there should be an autorun or install or setup file that you click and it should start.

The reason you're having problems is you are trying to install a "pirated" copy.
Sims 2 is commercial software. That means you have to buy it.

all i can say is go into my computer, and the file will be there. if not, then the disc is either a fake, or un-readable. if the game was bought from a proper shop, then i'd return it lol
