I'm sorry to hear about your little dog, Rican.

The truth is that there is no real way to tell. But she's already had a good little life.

Make her as comfortable as you can, and when it's time to let her go remember that she loved you.

My beagle had breast cancer that spread to her uterus. It caused massive tumors. We had to put her to sleep last Valentines day at the age of 12. She was in too much pain. She still looked as happy as could be before we put her down, wagging her tail and licking out faces. I think it was her way of saying goodbye and telling us this is what is best for me. I never saw my dad cry until that day. And now I have made myself cry. I wish you the best of luck!!!

Talk to your vet.

For the future, SPAYING dogs prevents this type of cancer and many others!

They should be spayed by 5 months.
