Son of God.
Nowhere does the phrase "God the Son" appear in the Bible. It was a term concocted by some men trying to fuse Christianity with pagan ideas.
Jesus is often called the Son of God in the Bible because nobody in the first century ever thought of him as being God the Son.
Even the demons, who knew him from long ago in heaven knew he was not God. So, correctly, they addressed Jesus as the separate “Son of God.”
Matthew 8:29
And, look! they screamed, saying: “What have we to do with you, Son of God? Did you come here to torment us before the appointed time?”
And when Jesus died, the pagan Roman soldiers standing by knew enough to say that what they had heard from his followers must be right, not that Jesus was God, but that “certainly this was God’s Son" as it says at Matthew 27:54.
At John 3:16, Jesus said: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son.”
John 3:18
He that exercises faith in him is not to be judged. He that does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God
At John 10:36 when the Jews accused Jesus of blasphemy, he answered: “Do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and dispatched into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, I am God’s Son?”
Jesus did not say that he was ‘God the Son’ but that he was “God’s Son.”
I could go on and on and on.....

Jesus did not think of Himself as the Son of God, He WAS the Son of God. "Scriptual Support" ya right, dude just look in the Bible every prophecy about Him was fulfiled, He was born of a virgin, he was pirced without breaking a bone, he was taken to Egypt to flee Herod, and also if he wasn't the Son of God then why was it when he was on the cross he said "Father forgive them, because they don't know what they are doing" or right after he died the curtain in the temple (4 inches think BTW) split from top to bottom. He was despiesd, rejected of men. And how about what Daniel said, pinpointing the Time of the coming of the Son of God, or when He died the Roman soldier said "Surely this was the Son of God". No I think that anyone with half a mind to even look at the Bible and know that it has been prooven accurate in it's history and prophecies will know that Jesus is the Son of God. There is no doubt of what he was and still is

No he did not. To understand the scriptures pray for guidance and direction and be patient as it does not come all at once. Matthew 3: 16,17 especially the last sentence. Would he need the approval of his father if he thought he was God? Would he have subjected himself to a lowly existence as a human? If he thought of himself as God he would been like Satan and there is no future for Satan and his followers. Jesus, as the son of God, is now our reigning King in the heavens waiting for his father, God to give him the earth to also reign over. Remember the Lords Prayer. Let they kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Keep in mind that the scriptures were written long after Jesus was dead, by people who had never met him.
There was a meeting between the leaders of the early christian church where it was put to the vote as to whether Jesus was divine or simply a man. It was called the council of Nicaea. So, he was voted in.
There's no way of knowing just what Jesus' own opinions on the matter was. Presumably he felt that he had a close relationship with god though. Perhaps he felt that we are all Sons of god. We do call him the father after all.
From the expression you are using there, "god the son" i'd guess your referring to the trinity, God the father, the son and the holy spirit. That seems to have come in later as christianity fused with europes pagan religions.

Jesus the man was the Son of God, just as all humans are the sons and daughters of God. Jesus in the spirit was God, when the Bible says he was the only begotten of God it probably means that as a human he was the only one to be physically created of the Spirit, the only human to have been fathered by God hmself and not another human. Remember Adam was created from dust and Eve from Adam, only Jesus was created from the Spirit, in that sense he was the only one born of God, he was also the only spirit being to become flesh by being born of a woman. I may be wrong, but for me this explains the apparent contradictions in the scriptures that are used by various groups to argue their case, Jesus was man, i.e. the Son of God during his earthly sojourn and God in his spirit form. Amen.

Jesus is the only begotten son of God. No one is Higher then God, The Almighty. God is Our Creator and Jesus is Our Savior.

John 10:30 "I and the Father are one" Jesus is saying He is God. John 1:1 ..."Word was God" Once again it seems apparent that Jesus is claiming to be God. Jesus did claim to be the Son of God, and the phrase God the Son is not used, but Jesus is clearly and definitely God.

Jesus referred to himself as the son of God, never as God the son.
When Jesus was baptized, a voice was heard (by some) from heaven.
It was God saying about Jesus:
“You are my Son, the beloved; I have approved you.”
Mark 1:11
He is the son.
When Jesus died, an army officer was quoted as saying:
“Certainly this was God’s Son.” Matthew 27:54.
Jesus often referred to himself as the son.
John 10:36
John 3:18
John 5:19
That was also the beliefs of his 12 apostles.
1 Corinthians 15:28

Most Importantly: If he was God, then that means God was dead for three days...God is, was, and always will. Man dies God don't.
He referred to himself as the "Son of Man"...meaning man, not God. Also, when he prayed to the Father, no, he wasn't praying to himself....I can feel the "I and father are one" scriptures coming at me...Well, then feel all the ,holy ghost and the word are one, the word and the Lord is one scriptures before ya start to point that out.
They are all one. The Word, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit........they are identical minded, and stand on their conviction with every letter.
1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. .......
"Father, Word, Holy Ghost, Son"
So what, does that make a "Quadrity" instead of a trinity now? Nope, they are one, seperate but of one mind in agreement.
God don't die, not even for three days!
