Airplanes are made chiefly of aluminum, with some structural steel, some plastics (chiefly ABS and PVCs) and in a few cases some magnesium and titanium. Windows are made of acrylic plastics.

Ships, including cruise liners, are made almost entirely of steel. Ornate interiors may also include wood, brass, aluminum alloys, and some of the same plastics used in aircraft interiors.

I thought planes were built using balsa wood and canvas. Or so the SE5 or the Sopwith Camel was anyhow :-)
