I've always liked the definition of prayer from the Devils Dictionary
pray (v): to ask the Almighty Creator to alter His Perfect Plan on behalf on a single petitioner, confessed unworthy.

I know from experience that God listens to prayers and anwers. Of course I will not get any thing I just fancy I like. And I will die like all others. I do not understand every aspect of this war between good and evil either. Still I'm convinced God is trustworthy and has the ultimate answer to all our questions and I prefer to be on the winning side of this great battle.

God has created every person with a purpose in life that includes the babies in the womb. We pray for God's protection so we will be able to accomplish the purpose that God has created us for.
Psalms 91 promises us protection if we have our lives submitted to God.
Allah is not God by the way.

I don't understand your question. For one, I have never prayed for "my life to be spared." We all go through times of trial and persecution and it is in these times that I pray for the Lord to bring me through the trial with new eyes. "What am I supposed to learn from this Lord?" - is my cry.
My life is not my own and the more I give this idea up to God, the more peace I find even in the depths of persecution.
The story of Job (unwarranted trial) shows us that God wants only good for us, if and only if, we are willing to keep God as our God. Even if I lose my life, it will be for the Glory of God.
It's easy to bring God to the front when in times of need. Try to keep Him there ALL the time!

To answer your question, is that no one wants to die, But if our time comes we know we are ready to go, Jesus himself prayed to his father just before his crucifixtion, because that showed the human side of Jesus, & also the bible says for us to pray one for another. Now concerning evil or satan having his way, Yes God allotted a time frame to do what he wants to but one thing Giod will not allow, & that is to over-ruled God himself, Did you know that satan is the god of this earth, meaning he is the god of earthly things until God chains him for 1000 yrs, in the milliennium, so right now satan is going to & fro seeking those whom he may devour, satan is the god of sin, but he is not the God of rightoeusness.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd : I shall
not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green
pastures
He leadeth me beside the still waters
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of right-
eousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for though art with me.
Though preparest a table before me in
the presence of mine enemies:
Though anointest my head with oil:
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall fol-
low me all the days of my life:
and I shall dwell in the house of the
Lord for ever.

i'm even more amazed that you can actually claim to know who was praying, to whom they were praying, and for what they were praying...and that you're willing to use the deaths of thousands of innocent victims to score juvenile 'points' against Christians
