if its not ok for men to look at women as sex objects, then why is it ok for women to look at men as sex objects? Now I understand where women come from when they say they wanted to be treated as someone, not something, because sometimes I feel the same way. Like when I was in my p.e lesson there were a load of girls saying to us boys to take our tops off (including me), and another time when I was walking in town a girl grabbed something of mine, and another time when some girls wolf whistled at me. Its times like those I wish I was a fat ugly minger. I hope there are some boys/men who feel the same about this.

Times have changed over the years. Women have become more aggesive in their behavior, more out spoken. Not too long ago women were not treated as equals along side men. They wanted independance, fair treatment in the work place, and equal oppertunity the same as men. All this is good, however, because of this independance it has also created a new look for women. Women are not viewed anymore a they once were 30 or so years ago by men. I'll stop here. You older men that have been around know what I'm leading to.

You acknowledge that it is not "OK" for men to treat women as sex objects, although it's done all the time. So what makes you think it's "OK" for women to do the same to men just because it happened to you?

It's not OK for that to happen with men or women. However, there are always going to be some women and some men who enjoy being treated that way because it feeds some false sense of self-confidence.

All you can do is make sure you never treat anyone that way and hope others will learn from your behavior.

I was sitting at my guard post once and this drunk girl came by with her two friends and proceeded to do a lap dance on me right then and there. Couldn't touch her or it would have been harassment so I had to kindly ask her to stop and get off. Thank God I had here friends under oath to tell the truth or I might have lost my job. So yeah I know at least once what it was like to be just a sex object. Damn that be-itchy woman !

I'm OK about it as long as it's at a distance and not too many women, because women in groups can be really scary and reduce a man to the size of a peanut if they want to (I of course refer to the size of a man's ego). So remember to always show the ladies some respect and try to behave like a gentleman.

This obviously isn't true, because people wouldn't get married, have relationships etc. But the people who do look at others as sex objects are shallow.

i agree.No-one likes to be groped on the street.

Not really sure why, its the same as girls who say a guy should never hit a girl, but a girl can kick a guy in the privates if he pisses her off.

seems feminism crossed a line somewhere along the way. it will eventually even out.

women need to stop trying to prove they are just as good as men.. we are. thats it. don't need to act grossly to do it.

It's called....life. People should be treated with respect, not as an object, regardless of gender. Unless, of course, they are a complete moron.

I don't think anyone deserves to be treated like an object, no matter what gender....
