Once you get the ps3 main menu back up again.. disable the Information Board bar in the top right hand corner of teh ps3 Xmb menu. THis will stop the system from freezing during games..

You've tried to turn off a news strip (RSS feed) in the corner and (I assume) you have the latest firmware version. Do you run it on HDTV? Try to plug it via supplied cables to regular TV and check it out. But it's better to call Sony and explain them the whole thing.
Happy holidays! :-)

Been there, finished that. i do no longer understand what you're able to do approximately it different than the two denying it, ignoring it , pwning all of us via status up for it without shame or hoping he likes you back... you will recover from it if he does locate out and does not such as you back although. it rather is going to be embarrassing, yet no longer the tip of the international. ~

Contact Sony. Something went wrong on the hard drive. They will probably have to replace it.

Yes I know how to fix... you take it back to the store where you got it with receipt in hand and demand a new one.

Why do people always forgot the WARRANTY?

Go to the store with the reciept, the console and the warranty.
