Paul w has it the wrong way round.

Many televisions now have built in freeview tuners, but not all of them.

All televisions have built in analogue tuners.

It will be several years before they stop including analogue tuners because most of the country will not be losing their analogue signals for a while, and some places still can't get a digital signal.

Whether it's a LCD or Plasma set doesn't make any difference.

Happy New Year.

Yes. Its all to do with the receiver. The receiver receives the signal & converts it to a signal that can be viewed on the Tv. Most Tv has digital recievers built in these days so you get freeview at the very least.

Most digital TV's come with twin tuners, digital and analogue, however, SOME digital TV's have only one tuner. If you have the latter then no.
