you could make peppermint bark (or what ever flavor they are)
you could also crush them and add them to Rice Krispie Treats
crush them and use them for a topping on sugar cookies
or if you like donate them to a shelter for the homeless or to a church, they would know where to donate them too....

Ship your everlasting gobstoppers to me...I love those things and can't get them in the Middle East. PM me and I'll give you my address and for you the shipping will only cost as though you were shipping to NYC. Thanks!

Oh and for your trouble, I suggest making that chocolate / peppermint candy that my Mom makes every year. Picture swirled marble and that's what it looks like...I bet you can find the recipe on the internet. :)

Peppermint bark. Crush up the candy canes and spinkle on top of chocolate almond bark. Melt almond bark and before it cools sprinkle the candy canes on top and then after it cools! Wa-la peppermint bark!

Are they still in their original wrappers? If so, you could always try the local SureStart or community centre?

Or you could even offer them on your local Freecycle if you're a member? If not, join them on www.freecycle.org

There's someone out there who'd be more than happy to receive them.

Hang them on your door with a small pair of scissors to cut ribbon..

Place a sign, "DO NOT TAKE",

That'll get rid of them.
