- He's always mega polite when talking to me
- Whenever I offer to do something for him he refuses and makes sure I don't 'waste the effort' to get it
- Whenever he gives me hugs he gives me a really big one
- On my Christmas card and present, he wrote his name and three x's after it (like kisses). (Ok, if it was a girl then it probably wouldn't mean anything but boys don't do it that often, do they?)
- He always helps me
- He loves Ugly Betty (I'm known in my class as Ugly 'Becky')
What do you think, does he like me? Is he interested? Or am I just hoping for answers and looking too deeply into it?

Seems like a nice guy!! Try being good friends, ask him out and don't waste time ask him if he is interested, simple. Don't think about this too much or it might be too late for anything.

what you have right now, is the start of a beautiful friendship.
Try and make the most of it.
Keep relying on him.. Ugly Becky is just plain stupid I am sorry....I have been through name calling as well. I know that through those times, you need a good friend.
Try and keep that friendship please... I was in the same situation as you and I kind of screwed it up. I thought he liked me and he didnt really but we got in a relationship.. and it made everything worst.
Make it clear he's a friend, hang out with him and most importantly: BE HAPPY ;)

I think you may be reading too much into it. Seems you like him. He may just be a nice guy. But, if you really want to know, then you either have to ask him or continue with the 'what ifs'...

Yes he likes you. Yes he is interested. No your not looking to deeply into it. Go ask him out if you like him or you can wait for him to ask you out.

By what you say, I think that he does like you, but don't be scared of asking him out, if he says no, then nothing ventured, nothing gained. Good luck..
