a lot of people don't own slowcookers. they are pretty rare where I come from.

I am a woman and I own my house, but I am not a housewife! I don't own a slowcooker (or a crockpot or any other name they want to give to it). And I don't want one either. Nor do I want a toaster oven. I love to cook, but I only have a certain amount of counter space, much less cupboard space! But I do have lots of things to prepare meals, which I do most days.
