They were big in London & Birmingham in the 90s.
I met quite a number as I was outreaching on the street myself then (and still am).

I met one guy who had just been told to leave his elderly mother because she was not in the church. He realised this can't be right (1Tm:5:8: But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel) + they use heavy discipleship to make people do what Christians should want to do - they have to do this becuase they havn't got the Spirit of God - they quote Acts 2:38 and teach that because I think I've repented and been baptised I MUST have received the Spirit - not so!

God shows when you have by his sign of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4, 33, 10:44-48), not your judgement on your own heart.

The guy I met saw the point, called upon God, received and has been walking on since . . . and did his mother!

I just googled "ex icoc" and it listed several myspace pages and groups for former members, as well as some other resources.

If you haven't darkened it's doors by falling into it, how could one be expected to fall away from it.
