My girlfriend is totally against porn and says she considers it cheating. I don't honestly care because we are either having sex or I'm getting oral sex almost every night so I don't need it. I have been with her a year now and I haven't watched porn in about 8 months since she told me she didn't like it and she knows this. However, she feels upset that I would even consider using porn if we didn't have sex for a period of time. She knows she is irrational and that I am respecting her feelings on the issue etc. etc. The real question is there anything I can do to change her feelings or something else to help the situation?

Girls are different in that way. I get upset when my boyfriend wants to look at porn, but I can understand that when he's away from me, he would feel the need to look at it. I think that if you're in a relationship with someone, you should love that person for them and not have to look at other girls through porn. It's kind of degrading in a way.

It depends actually.
Some girls like it most girls don't.
I guess yeah, because it feels like we're being treated as symbols not as people. When you watch those porn movies, you're not really in for the story, much like you don't buy porn mags for the articles alone. And while it may have "substance" it still doesn't take away the fact that it's porn.
Your girlfriend may be irrational in some respect about you watching or reading porn, but I guess try putting yourself in her shoes.
Do you really want her to imagine some other guy while she's pleasuring herself at night?

It's completely degrading to women. No self respecting woman would ever think of performing those ridiculous acts. A woman likes to feel special and loved. Sharing your girl in a gang bang doesn't make her feel loved.
You wouldn't let all your friends touch your favorite most expensive baseball card/comic book, would you?
If you really must watch porn, there is porn FOR Girls! None of that c-sucking cr@p. Let her pick it out.

I think your girlfriend is right to be concerned about porn. It objectifies women and gives everyone who watches it inappropriate ideas about sex. It encourages completely irresponsible and sinful behavior both in the people who produce it and the people who watch it. It's addictive and it should be avoided like the plague. You should follow your girlfriend's lead and leave that filth alone.

I don't think so man, some women are like that. You could try to get her interested in some porn as well, probably wouldn't work though.

have you ever put your self in her shoes and had to put up with something sexual you didn't like her seeing or maybe after you watch porn you treat her differently!

If she doesn't like it, then u are most likely not going to change her mind. If u do use it every now and then, u don't have to tell her.
