I can wait until he comes....Dont wanna die anytime soon...But hey, he's gonna have to experience the apocalypse with us...
To guy above me: I understand what your saying but he did rise from the dead once and he even told the people he was gonna rise in three days and he did, physically did. The wrappings that was wrapped around him was just lying where he was, so he must've gone through them.

I'm pretty sure I spotted him several years back in one of those "Find Waldo" books. It doesn't seem like anything came of it.
No, I don't expect Jesus will return soon, unless you're referring to Jesus (Hay-sooss) who mows the lawn, here. He should be returning to work around eight in the morning.
I also don't expect many other fictional characters to show up anywhere, in the flesh. I'm not waiting for Harry Potter to come flying in on a broom, or Louis Wu to land on the lawn in his singleship, fresh from the asteroid belt, and I don't expect Alice to step out of the mirror.
I've lived on this planet for 45 years, now, and there has always, ALWAYS been a healthy supply of people who think Jesus is going to return soon. Always. It seems obvious from reading of earlier times, that there's been a steady stream of such people throughout the past several centuries.
No, I don't think he's coming back, anytime soon. Probably not ever. It doesn't matter. We don't need him. Try thinking for yourself, and life becomes a lot easier.

And what is it that you think would make him finally descend from his luxurious heaven?
Don't you find it odd that he isn't moved enough by mass famine, disease, hatred and suffering that already happens in the world. If I was a believer, this would bug my brain.....
Obviously I do not believe in jesus along with quite a few folks which only raises another point - why has 2000 years passed since this guy thought there was anyone worthy of getting to heaven that might simply require more than a dusty unproven old book? Not a very fair and loving god at all.

Jesus returned in 1914.
For a full explanation of this date read the literature distributed by the Jehovah's Witnesses.

I think so. The world has been strange lately. History usually repeats itself. However things that have never happened in history are happening. Russia and China are getting along. Europe is uniting. Gay marriage is allowed. Our government leaders are acting like children all the time (Chavez, Chirac, Clinton, etc.) We're starting to run low on water. Scientists predict that we'll have major food shortages soon. It just seems like Jesus needs to come back soon to save us all.

this might seem a sprint unusual however the grasp Jesus himself is now living in Rome. There are to boot different Masters commencing as much as externalize their artwork and are making waiting to as quickly as back walk among the sons of adult adult males who comprehend no longer that they are Sons of God. Jesus is an extremely dedicated disciple of the Lord Maitreya and are working at the same time for all time. Maitreya is the guy who's the worldwide instructor for those of all religions, and for those of no religions and no one team can declare him for themselves. Maitreya is right here as a instructor -interior the main broadest experience of the be conscious , and embodies interior himself the Christ theory . all of us share this comparable Divinity as souls.

People have been saying for centuries that he will be coming. As the bible says, we have no idea.
PS- It's great to know there are actually other Christians on the internet. On Yahoo answers, it's often discouraging when the world is influencing all the answers. I know this sound silly, but this question just made my day with your name "jesus freak". thanks!!

Well Paul was pretty convinced it would happen in his lifetime, he didn't even think it was worth having kids as there wouldn't be enough time.
Boy, how many people have to be wrong before we decide that he's not coming?
2000 years late to the party! If he does turn up, let's all just ignore him and see how he likes it.

No man will know the hour or the day. Maybe he will come today, or in 100 years. Maybe he is already here. No man knows the time a thief will enter his house, nor does any man expect a thief.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
