Have been single for 2 years. Victim of unrequited love for about 4.5 years. Over the past 5 or so years I have had:

1. One short-term "friend with benefits"
2. One short-term boyfriend (lasted about 8 wks, two years ago. He was annoying as heck, so he doesn't really count as anything that made my life better).

And I am not even remotely tempted to kill myself. There is so much stuff out there left to see and do. Stop trying so hard. Besides, often trying too hard is what hurts your chances.......

Why would you kill yourself? There are so many things out in the world to do besides getting a gf. And stop trying so hard.
Suicide is for ******* sorry but its true. Join the military or something.
