His season has got to be better then last season. I think he'll do a lot better this year. He's with a team that knows what it takes and how to win races. GO JR.!!!

Snake, I love your idea of the hobo stick, and the journey.. I think he is going to have a great yr, 3 or 4 wins, heck I hope DW is right about the 6, but i think it will be 3 or 4 make the chase, and finish in the top 5. Which is a great yr for any driver, I think he might end up 2nd or 3rd in the chase, then 2009 win the championship....One this for sure I can not wait for the season to start, The countdown is at 50 days now, I can't wait for it to start..I'm cheering him on all the way..

Go Dale Jr & Hms in 2008

I believe Dale Jr will have a good year, but I don't think changing teams will help him be a better driver. I predict Jr winning 1 maybe 2 races in 2008. Jr made a bad decision when he insisted he bring Tony Eury Jr with him. Dale would have been much better off with Kyle Busch's old crew chief. I believe Eury is part of Jr's troubles.

I'm a Truex fan. I used to be a Dale Jr fan, but i feel Dale Jr will collect 2 wins in 08 and make the chase. That's just my opinion.

Though getting used to a new team will take some doing, I think it will pay off in the long run.

My personal prediction: Dale Jr. will become more competitive again, but will fall short of winning the Sprint Cup title. I have no doubt he'll win races though, and maybe he can at least make the chase.

Hendrick MS will wish they never picked him up. They only picked him up because of sponsors and to get more drivers to the chase. Yeah Dale Jr might make the chase but hes going to have to pass Gordon and Johnson too. Jimmie is looking at winning every single race this season because nobody else has figured out the correct setups to the tracks.

Well I think if he understands that he is the third best driver in the HMS garage, takes advantage of oppurtunities when the arise, and not try to force anything on the track then he'll pick up a couple of W's make the chase and have a decent year. On the other hand if he still thinks that he is top dog then he will be in for a very long year. Jeff and Jimmy are two of the best drivers in Nascar and most importantly they are consistent. Having Jr on board will make things easier for them as it will shift the spotlight away. As long as Jr races and acts like Kyle Busch did early in the year before his head got too big for his helmet then he should have similar success.

I love Jr to death. However, I really don't think he'll win 6 races like DW predicted. This is a whole new team. That is gonna take time to get used too. He is gonna give 150% every time he gets behind the wheel. I feel he will get better finishes than the 2007 season ( That's obvious, HMS motors rarely blow up). I think 1 win, possibly 2. He will make the Chase and overall finish 5th in points.

dale jr will have a terrific year in 2008 that is what i am thinking and being with HMS will give him the opportunity to do all of that.he will have the chance to shine like he has never shined before.

I’m sure that his personal goals look like this:
Win at least two races.
Make the chase with no problem.
Finish minimum top 5 in points.
If he doesn’t he will probably receive a lot of criticism after blaming his ‘07 woes on the cars and the turmoil associated with his split from DEI.
These goals may be more realistic for 2009 however.

i'm independent on Jr. no longer a fan, no longer a hater, i'm getting what you're asking.. the reason he gets trashed is as a results of fact in certainty he's the main conventional motive force, it extremely isn't any secret, all of us know that, he who sits interior the suited spot in something is going to be the main challenged, whilst on the comparable time the main enjoyed. 12 years in the past it exchange into Jeff Gordon, he exchange into the main conventional motive force on the circuit, he had a extensive following, and yet there have been people who hated him, as a results of certainty that he exchange into the main conventional. comparable ingredient now with Jr.
