like you know it's going to happen, so when you come to doing it, you don't feel so excited because it's predictable/set up/going to happen (sex on wedding night). i don't know about you guys but if it were me, i would feel like i had to force myself to feel "turned on" and i think good sex, actually all sex, should be done when both people feel turned on and want to do it, they shouldn't have to fake themselves or be in a position where they don't want to do it and are only doing it for the sake that they can finally have sex and lose their virginity now they are married, like most virgin couples do. if i were the bride i would be like, sorry hubby but we're gonna have to be virgins for a little while longer til we both want to do it. then i'd go and stuff myself with food and drink good wine mmmmmmm. by the way, i am still a virgin at the age of 19, was going to just wait till i find the right one to give it to, but after seeing some questions posted about sex after marriage, the

you guys are right! haha never thought of that whole, kissing, getting to know eachother, touching, being in love and just WAITING IN ANTICIPATION to finally make love to your one and only! so yeah it would be true that you probably would want to rip that tux and wedding dress off asap.

I know several people who waited until their wedding night and were both virgins. They were way more excited about having sex than people who had already done it. Of course, they loved each other and had wanted to have sex before they were married but chose to wait. That made it even more exciting.

XD That was funny about what you said about the food and wine. Sounds like something I'd do.

'Cuz there's a chance I'll fall in love with and marry someone *before* I'm willing to give up my virginity. Once you lose that, you can't ever tell yourself that you're still a kid. People view you as less pure and stuff. Plus, I'd be embarrassed in front of the guy, even if I'd just married him.

So, I sometimes think that maybe I'll spend my wedding night doing something else. Like night-hiking or talking (or sleeping). But somehow I doubt my husband would like that....

PS--I'm a 23 yr. old virgin who is waiting for marriage.....but I don't plan on getting married until my late 20s or early 30s. Sex isn't something I really look forward to. I'll just be happy to find and earn someone I like enough to devote myself to.

no it is special. I mean Imagine how long they have waited to be together , I'm sure they are not forcing themselves to be turned on they would want each other badly. Saying yourself for one person is something you should be proud of. Having sex with someone you know loves and respects you would be an amazing experience.

In some cultures, the marriage isn't consumated for a month or more, maybe for that very reason! Building up to "the moment" would be a good thing.
