You're right, it is your job to confront him once and for all.
Say, you can't keep saying that to me, because nothing is going to change here.
You have no right to hassle me and it's getting tired. Some people just don't know when to quit, so you have to tell him, it's quitting time.
If he tries to throw his 2 cents worth in, tell him you've talked too much already and now it's my turn to talk and it better be for the last time.
If he continues to hassle you, the next step is up to you.
Good luck with this one

Well, just let it be. If the 3rd guy is not making a nuisance, then just forget what he says and did. If you are not making any responses back, then he should get the idea, that you meant it. The more you worried and trying to talk to him, the more he will disturb you. Such kind of guy is a jerk, and they are only happy when they manage to break off a happy couple. If he is getting to be too much, let your bf handle him. Do not handle it yourself. If not, if you have other guy fren, get them to help you out, if you think your bf is not the suitable candidate to handle the situation.

You're right, it is your job, but you also used good judgment in telling your boyfriend what is going on, because this other guy sound like trouble. You're going to have to get hard core with this intruder because nothing less is going to make him back off. Tell him in a polite but firm manner that either he stops pestering you, or you will get a restraining order against him. This will convey to him that you mean business. If he doesn't back off, get the restraining order, and continue to build a case against him, in case you have to go to court. Anything less extreme than these measures is not going to discourage him because he is pathologically obsessed with you.

I think it is your job as well. But if this other person continues and you really are not interested, then it is harassment. Besides your boyfriend. Is there some one who can speak to
him and let him know, he is going way out of bounds.
