Let's see...in the Book of the Silver Screen, Chapter ten verse 47 it says "thou shalt not bring a crying infant, nor a loud and whiny child into the temple of the cinema....nay, nor shalt thou bring in any child to a horror movie who is too damn young to see poeple's heads getting ripped off or people being stabbed to death in the shower...for lo, I will send a loud smartass named Epitome among thee, and she shall state loudly "Dost thou mean to sign your child up for years of therapy, yea, so early in its youth?" And thou shalt throw popcorn at her, and lo, she shall not care.

Not if I'm there trying to watch the movie.

It's also not okay to bring the screaming baby to a restaurant when I'm trying to eat a meal.

Unless there is some deeper meaning to this question, then I dont see how this constitutes as a religious question.

But in answer to your question, I think around the age that he can start understanding you is good enough.

For any person, it's never okay...unless they have a sectioned off area for that. And while we're on the subject, leave the big hats at home along with you cell phone.

When it's a Disney or other animated film and there are dozens of other babies there with their parents and siblings.

Otherwise it is just kind of rude.
