It means that this person has been treated cruelly, and has been violated in a very personal way. The dream could be warning her about a situation or a person - to not get involved with them, etc. It is most likely not literal.

More context is needed to give you a proper interpretation.

Again, it is most likely not literal but symbolic of how deeply hurt this girl has been, or will be if she continues in the direction she is going in.

Lovely, it would help if you can post an entire dream from
beginning to end in as much detail as you can manage. We have several rape related dreams posted here during the week, but there is not a one size fits all answer to this symbol.

Sometimes when someone posts on it, it seems as though they have actually been raped or molested, and blocked it from their waking mind, or maybe their waking mind knows that something isn't quite right, but they need the dream to point it out to them.

Another idea out there is that it's about young girls being curious about "forbidden fruit" dreaming to experience sex without taking responsibility for their own actions, but you're way too old for it to be that one, it's usually young teenagers.

Another definition is that someone in your life is violating you emotionally, through emotional abuse and manipulation.

I'm curious if you're asking this for yourself or for a friend? (in your q & a's you are 20 and seem to be in a stable relationship, or at least contemplating taking the relationship to another level...)

Lovely, thanks for the additional details, I notice you posted this a couple of times, and it really seems to be disturbing you. So I guess the first question I would ask you, is do you have reason to believe that something like this actually happened to you? If so, then you may have post traumatic stress syndrome, and may have blocked it out in your conscious mind, but somewhere along the line you may have been having a nagging feeling in the back of your mind that something isn't quite right since "that day".
If you are absolutely certain that nothing of the sort has ever happened to you, then you need to look around your life and see if you can find someone who has violated you emotionally. This could take several forms, it could be someone who violated your privacy, someone who violated you with emotional abuse, someone putting out rumors about you, someone who betrayed your trust, things like that. It's possible that being a freshman in college could be contributing a lot of stress, but it really sounds a bit deeper than just starting college. Whatever the situation is, I hope you can work it out. Even if you do just chalk it up to freshman stress, you may want to consider counseling to figure out why you feel so violated....good luck....

You feel vulnerable and violated in your current life situation. You feel that you've been taken advantage of by someone or something. Your current situation may not be as grave as being raped but you feel used enough to affect your subconscious.

Dreams about rape indicate that one might be feeling as if they are not in control or are being victimized in some way.
