the trouble is that flies are low class crap eaters, while mosquitoes seem almost respectable. rather like people despise the burglar who steals a few dollars more than the banker who rips off a thousand pension funds.

Yes, it's true but fish love mosquito larvae and many of us love fish, sooo. But flies are part of the food chain too. Best not to get too far into that but everything does have a purpose. Sometimes the purpose just isn't a convenient one.

It depends on the flies. Bot Flies scare the crap out of me. Screw flies are pretty scary too, even worse than the Bots... and their maggots eat you alive.
