Then why are there still apes and they are not all humans by now? Seems like to me that there would be a total conversion by now. What do you think?

I thought the whole point of this was to be able to ask questions, but I guess for some it would be better for them not to answer seeing how it is such a bother. If it irratates you, then don't waste your time, only answer question that are of interest to you.

Carrosion: Count your ribs, then count your sisters ribs. You should have 13 and they should have 12 each. Why do you suppose that is?

I agree with you all the way!! If man came from the ape the the ape would still be producing humans and would die off. but gee the ape is still around and I have not seen one yet produce a human!
Anything that evolved still remained the same species. The sabortooth tiger evolved into other forms of cats but still remained in the cat family and the sabortooth died off. so did the other animals that evolved according to their habitat. Man did not come from ape!! Darwins theory on this was proven false anyway because the skulls he had at the time were found to really not be human after all. But no one speaks of this today and they are still teaching this stupid theory in some schools. I am 59 years old and remember that it was on the TV (black and white) years ago about these skulls not being human. so.. yes you are right!!!
There is no way that we could come from an ape!

I think that would disprove evolution.I think you have never spent 5 minutes, literally 5 minutes,EVER studying TOE.Please study, then talk.Your talking rubble shows you are intellectually lazy, have NEVER bothered to TRY to learn. You want answers that take years of study to be presented in 2 sentences, just so you,in your completely, abjectly, utterly UN informed position can make some statement simply dismissing the answer. If you WANT the answer,it's there, not hard to find,a lot to study.I Know you DON'T want the answer. So please, next time, write "Christians only"or something. You wouldn't accept the correct answer anyway. All you want is someone to say Jesus said evilution is a lie,and there will be your "best answer"You want an answer?THE CORRECT answer? Then email me,otherwise, don't waste the time of people who spent years studying in favor of a "Jesus Camp"graduate
As I thought.I emailed you very graciously, said if you REALLY wanted an answer,I would provide a detailed one, even offered to do it private,by email,in response to your "edit"that "you just asked a question.Seems I was correct.Your edit rings false also,it was offered, you didn't even respond.
Well crap,I want "best answer"so I change mine.EVILUTION IS A LIE BY AN EVIL ATHEIST CONSPIRACY.There, that ought to get "best answer"

That is an interesting quandry, but have you considered that the factors which produced homosapiens from apes may have occurred under different conditions than modern apes live in now?
Evolution of a species happens for a reason. It isn't random, but a physiological reaction to many environmental factors, including the need to hunt and survive. If a species in one region has no need to adapt to any factors to survive, then they may not evolve beyond their current status.
However, somewhere in our distant past an ape did survive and adapt.
This is called mutation, or evolution.
Somehow, a gene which laid dormant for an unknown period of time was activated and began the mutation process as part of the need for the species to adapt to some radical change in their local environment.
And Humanity was (eventually) born.

This question has been asked again and again by people who don't understand evolution. We didn't evolve from modern apes, modern apes and us evolved from a common ancestor. And there is no such thing as a total "conversion." That makes it sound as if evolution has some "endpoint." That is not true. Evolution is a continuing process by which different organisms go in different directions. It will continue as long as life itself exists.

If you check the latest research the neanderthal was part of the evolutionary chain but humans seem to be the odd man out as far as evolution. I read a piece on it recently but I forget the article. If you are looking for proof of evolution I highly recommend researching chemical evolution first. It is very interesting. I hate apes and all primates so I hope that we did not though science supports it:'(

Seems to me that you don't have an accurate understanding of the concept of evolution. First, humans are not the goal state, nor is there a goal to evolution beyond survival. Second, humans and apes share a common ancestor. Third *drink*.

I think that you are assuming you're the more evolved one. Who cares anyway? Everyone makes such a big deal about where we came from- unless you're really old you just don't know what happened. So, find a different dead horse to beat.

one group branched out and became humans, the other didn't. How would that make every ape change?? You can't deny the resemblance between humans and their cousins. And we didn't come from apes, we share a common ancestor.

same reason there are wolves and bears, one species was better suited for there environment, Humans more open areas where height gave the advantage of being able to see in tall grass and gather food to eat in a safer place. Apes for forests where they didn't really have to change from our common ancestor.

Humans did not literally come from apes. Humans and apes--and chimpanzees, orangutangs and gorillas--all came from a common ancestor. All of these species are known as primates and are also continuing to evolve as we go forward in time. Think of branches growing from a trunk of a tree. One trunk, many branches.
