Depends on how you look at a dream. Scientifically, dreams mean nothing at all. It's a mixture of nonsensical scenes, faces and events.
If you believe in god well enough, it could be someone trying to contact you as you said.
You choose your beliefs, there is no proof to account for either :)

Yes, dreams are very significant.
God does speak to us in our dreams. He encourages us, warns us, helps us understand what we are going through, gives us insight into situations, tells us what is ahead for us.
More context of the dream is needed to give you a real interpretation.
If you saw God in your dream, and it left you with a good feeling - cared about, loved, etc. then it probably was a dream from God to encourage you.

It means that you are in a situation where you are in awe of someone in authority. You may feel that you are under obligation to account for your actions to this authority figure. If you dream of God in the context of finding your mission or Him giving you a mission it means that you are trying to find meaning in your life and looking for affirmation that you are at the right path. It could also mean that your mind is trying to correct your decisions by using the image of God telling you what to do.
As to deceased relatives, it depends on the context of the dream. However, it is also a good practice to pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased relative whenever you dream of them.

It depends on what God said to you and what you saw in your dream. Usually when God visits you in a dream, He has a message for you, even if its just to let you know He loves you.

Nah, as dreams are a mix of what you know, they can not mean something in that way. If you think about something before you go down, you may dream about it, try for yourself. But, if you have a recurring dream, it means something. It'syour subconsiousness that wants to tell you something that they can't do any other way.
