I hardy ever wear jewelry.- In my line of work it's usually a bad idea. However sometimes I do wear a Star of David necklace, because of my Jewish background and a sliver necklace with the Lord Buddha on it, because someone very dear to my heart gave it me. Though I am a Buddhist I don't put it on because of that, but because I love the person who gave it to me.

I even have under no circumstances heard of Messianics condemning the logo of the go. using a huge call because of the fact the Seal of David could nicely be examined with the help of archeology to a minimum of the seventh century BC. It replaced style fairly over the centuries (i think of it became 5-pointed at that factor), even nonetheless that's nevertheless a huge call. of direction, that doesn't advise that David or another king did no longer undertake the logo from idolaters, yet i think of the link is so tenuous that no policies could nicely be made approximately it. bear in mind that each little thing the Enemy has is an imitation of something the genuine God created first. it style of feels merely as useful to have faith that David used a huge call as his logo because of the fact he knew of the enormous call that could desire to mark the beginning of his successor. -yk HP, there is not any "founder" of Messianic Judaism. There are founders of various strikes, a number of which fall decrease than that primary heading, yet maximum Messianic congregations are thoroughly self sufficient of one yet another and have been fairly spontaneous. Yenta, that image your buddy wears is familiar because of the fact the Messianic Seal and dates from the 1st century advert. that's a menorah with the backside making the ideas-blowing triangle of Magen David whose backside triangle types the story of a fish. some years in the past that image became discovered carved into the backside of a popular century oil lamp. merely because of the fact a pagan faith used a fish image, that doesn't advise that each physique fish symbols are subsequently evil. i've got study that the early Christians used the logo to show in the direction of 'underground' assembly places. do no longer understand no count if it is genuine, even nonetheless it sounds possible. ...Huh. The Jesus image i can understand. A crucifix, too, yet i've got under no circumstances heard of that style of reaction to a bare go. Admittedly, my experience is constrained to a single Messianic congregation and literature from others.

No, but I do carry a "lucky kitty" with me wherever I go.
If you don't know, the story of The Lucky cat originated in Japan (I think..I get all the asian countries mixed up..)
A guy was just coming out of a building, when he saw across the street a cat, motioning for him to come. He started to move towards the cat, and just where he had been standing - a tree branch fell. The lucky cat had saved his life! And now they make these really cute little figurines! lol.

Yes i wear my Pentacle necklace and a strand of rudraksha beads.

I wear my Pentacle because I'm a Wiccan, it is the symbol of Wicca, my sister gave it to me, so it means allot to me.

My Dad gave me The Rudraksha beads so they are also very special to me. In Hinduism the devotees of Lord Shiva wear them, they are said to be Lord Shivas Tears and they keep you from sin.

I don't suppose that a Celtic knot or a dragon will qualify as religious. The knot might, but I don't give it a religious significance.
