His power was dwindling after making the earth and all. That's why he doesn't do anything for us now.

God (Allah) never needed any thing or any persons to create someone- It is matter of diversity and show of power of God.
1) Adam was created without human father and mother--from dirt (sand)
2) Eve was created without human mother from father only
3) Jesus was created without father from mother
4) The lamb of sacrifice for son of Abraham was created from
nothing.
All four creations are proofs that God (Allah) Almighty creates as He wishes from what He wants or sometimes from nothing as in case #4

Because it doesn't sound very warm and loving, does it? Creating the Son of God from a pile of rocks?? It's much nicer, more humane the other way. Besides, as hard as it may be to believe that a virgin gave birth to a child, I think it would be even more incredible to expect people to believe that a child could come from a stone.

For the same reason Jesus didn't call on Angels to save Him when He was arrested, nor when we was crucified. It all had to happen according to the prophecies of the Old Testament prophets. Jesus was the prophesied Messiah and He had to fulfill all the scriptural requirements for the Messiah. One, being born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2), the other, being born from a virgin (Isaiah 7:14). And He also needed to be a descendant of David. Hope this answer helps you!

And if Moses could barely live to see God's face veiled, how the heck did she survive something incredibly more profound than that? It is indeed, cause for wonder.

for a very simple reason. if you recall well, Mary was a virgin, thus obviously couldn't have children. God gave her this grace to prove his mighty power. there are many women in the Bible who couldn't have children (ex Elizabeth), who gave birth with the divine intervention of God

He was trying to show that Jesus was really human. If he was made of stone he wouldn't seem like a human now would he?

Jesus had to be in the same line of creation as all the rest of us, not a new creature, so he had to be born of a woman.
