I want know that any software can count the no of slides present in a presentation?
help me out with software

I have some 100 ppt with 5000 slides in each so how to count whether 500 slides are there in each ppt. is there any software which actually count the slides without opening the ppt

Hi,

It is possible to create a macro that can loop through the files on your hard drive, but it would have to open each PowerPoint file to ascertain the number of slides in each file. You don't need any extra software. PowerPoint can do this itself.

Look at the bottom left hand side of the power point window; it'll tell you there how many slides there are in total. It'll read "slide 1 of 10" for example.
