Ok i've been dating this guy, We aren't going out yet but just dating. (This would be our third date so far.) Today I stopped by his place and we kinda made out, He didn't want to go any further and said he wanted to get to know me better but felt then wasn't the right time. Then as we were talking He said He didn't want to lead me on and wanted to take things slow with me. What does it mean?

He doesn't want to rush things and maybe he's being cautious.

It's not that he's cooling off you, it's just him being a bit sensitive and wanting to take things slowly until he feels more comfortable about being with you. (Maybe he's a virgin?)

Maybe when you stopped by his house, he didn't want anyone from his family seeing you and him together because he hasn't spoken about you to them.

There are few reasons and I think they are nothing to worry about and he seems to still be interested in you.

He seems like a nice guy. It means he respects you and wants to take things slow. "Leading you on" means giving you a false idea of what's going on. In other words, he feels it's too soon to have sex and doesn't want you to get the idea he just wants sex or wants to be officially together just yet and that he wants to get to know you first as a person.

I say, get to know him better, hang out a lot and figure out if he's right for you. Most guys don't take things slow, so go for it.

It means he is still unsure about the relationship, and doesn't want things to get too physical too fast without knowing what he wants the relationship to be.
Sounds like he is considering your feelings, which is a plus. I'd say don't make out with him for awhile, and before anything physical happens figure out where he wants the relationship to go.

I think he really liked you and dont want to take it all the way. You wouldn't want a guy to rush. Another can be that he felt no connection and just want to see if things work out first before he take it to the next level.

It means he's very mature and has been hurt badly before, and he wants to make sure that he doesn't screw things up with you. He obviously likes you, just don't rush him into doing things he might not want to do just yet or you might scare him off. Play the game by his rules, and if things work out, it will be way worth it.

Good luck! =)

I don't think it means he doesnt want to keep seeing you. Just that he would like to take things slowly and not rush into a relationship. Maybe u should put the ball in his court and if he approaches you about continuing with things you'll know hes into it.

This sounds like he is a good guy, he doesnt want to f**k things over and he really wants things to be great and try to see were it goes. Instead of a one night stand or thing he probably really wants to get to know you and make something special if it can become something to that.

It sounds like hes not really interested in you. Maybe you should leave this one and move on or do what he wants and take things slow, dont hassle him, wait for him to call you

This means that sex is not important to him getting to know you is.
This is good he wants to take things slow and fall inlove with you first. So just get to know him better and things will happen on thier own
