so is it reasonable to say that if we desire that someone perish this is not of the Spirit of God? If not, where do these feelings come from?

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Why would we want anyone to perish? We deserve to all perish, but if we are saved= we would want everyone to join us in heaven. Where would these feelings come from, if we wanted someone to perish- Satan, my friend, Satan.

According to your Bible you all perish. It is said in many ways but the consequence is the same. You end up existing as one with God with no memories of your worldly existance.
Heaven, according to Christian religion is not a place to be reconciled with your loved ones in a glorious paradice. Please read and understand your Bible.
You should give yourself the consoling belief that when you die it will be like going into a deep and untroubled sleep.

You have it all wrong...God's desires are not your desires. We are sinful beings having sinful desires, but there is a way to change all of this.....by being born again by the water and the Spirit.
The feelings you are experiencing are just feelings that is all. It has nothing to do with God, you must try and understand this.

Seems reasonable to say that since Heavenly Father gave mankind free agency and allows man to make his own choices, that the Holy Spirit can only help and comfort those who choose to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.

Research the Bible....
It happens to, not just suggest, but imply directly....that our own "flesh" is an "enemy" of God!
The human nature.....the fallen nature, the Old Adam, the Adamic nature....etc.
Reason being for the Holy Spirit needing to be invited into one's own mortal through FAITH in His Holy Son's Gospel of Grace.....
death, burial and resurrection!!!
Believe and be free indeed!!!
Research it for yourself......good reading!!!

Where would a thought of wanting someone to die come from?
...From our self.
We are humans and we have all sorts of feelings.
Why would we feel that for a person?
...I would say because that is the easiest way for us to get rid of the hurt that person has caused us.

It is not from God, it comes from our "own" feelings about the persons or person.
