There are two different Amtrak stations in the Apple Valley/ Victorville area.
The first is at Victorville, CA (VRV)
16858 D St.
Victorville, CA 92392

The second is a bus connection to the train and it is at Victorville - Adelanto Junction - Bus Stop, CA (ADE) 11994 Palmdale Road
Adelanto Marketplace - Bus Shelter
Victorville, CA 92392

The details, including fares and schedules for both, can be found at:

www.amtrak.com

You'd take the Thruway Bus to Bakersfield, the "San Joaquin" to Stockton, and then another Thruway Bus on to Stockton.

Sadly, a round-trip for an adult and two kids is almost $300
