Well there will be minor updates like:
SP1
Fiji (suppose to come with a new Media Center and some creative apps)
If you're talking about the next new OS: Windows 7.
I'm hoping Microsoft will learn some of it's Vista mistakes, and do better with Windows 7.
Though I personally do like Windows Vista on key individual features, it's really not that bad of an OS.

Since people do not like it, I would say something is being processed very quickly right now so they can get it on the market ASAP. Most people are switching back to XP. maybe it will be Windows XPvista. Ha. I believe the problem is people do not like all the security things. People who are computer illiterate do not understand it and they just want to go back to what they are familiar with. There needs to be mroe community classes offering help with people who do not understand.
