If you have to ask this question, you apparently don't care whether people cheat you or not. They are commonly known as "door mats", since they let people walk all over them. Most people do care about such things, but since your folks haven't given you the "birds and bees" talk about cheating, here is some of it.
When two people enter into an agreement, and one person decides that he (or she) doesn't have to follow this agreement, and does this behind the other person's back, he (or she) is CHEATING. You may not have been cheated out of anything from a tangible basis, but your trust has been flouted. Generally, once the cheater finds out that he (or she) can get away with it, there will be more cheating.

You would be cheated out of the opportunity of having a trusting relationship with your partner. When one is cheated upon, it means that the partner is getting away with having the normal, one partner relationship, by having two partners instead. They come home b/c that's truly where they belong, so you, the partner is being cheated because you only have one partner and not sneaking around with another, just as they have desired to do. Good question!

To cheat is to deceive or mislead usually by trickery.
When someone "cheats" is usually behind the others persons back. It's basically a big stab in the back. You put trust into someone and believe they are with you because they love you and then they go and sneak around with someone else.
If they do come back to you it's usually a conscious thing. I think of it like a dog sh*tting all over your floor and not running away. They know they did wrong and hope they won't be 'punished' for it.

cheating consist of having sexual relations with someone other than your mate. yes it may be true a person who cheats know where home is but its no excuse for cheating and going outside the relationship. i feel a lack of communications cause a lot of cheating what ever your lacking in your relationship communicate about it weather its sex, love, etc. if that doesn't work then its time to let go of that relationship before someone gets hurt

cheating is when you dishonor someone in a relationship like you cheat on your huband/wife when you took your vows and got married you said you would stay together and you broke the bond that you once formed, or even a girl/boy friend when you agreed to dating them. Cheating is like when you play a game first they tell you the rules or you already know them and if you break them your dishonoring the game and others who are playing

well, cheating is anything you don't want your signifiant other to see/hear about.
yes you do get them back at home, but HOW often are there relationships where one partner "cheats" and it stays a happy relationship? Rarely.
The end up cheating them of their time, love, and support- One person gives it, and the (cheating) other gives time, love, and support to more then one person.

uhhhh...lol are u serious? these sound like the words of a slut...but its the feelings...havnt u heard of a open relationship? thats when two people love each other yet have sex with others...but they still come home...its not SEX or KISSING that defines cheating...its the emotions involved that make it cheating...example...u like a guy and he likes u...u r a couple...well if u like another guy...thats cheating...i say...if ur saying u feel something for someone when u are clearly lying is cheating...if my girlfriend said she had feelings for one of her male friends i would consider that cheating...yet i would also consider her having sex with someone is cheating...(since were not in a open relationship)
