Last week i went to Madurai to meet my friend.But he with his family have gone for an excursion.
As i was in thirst, i knocked next by house .A 10 year girl gave me water.
I asked her what she was doing?. She said,"I am cooking the child and burning the mother".( puzzle 1)
I asked her where her father is?. She said,"He has gone to
mix the sand with the sand". (puzzle 2)
I asked her where her mother is?. She said,"She has gone to
make single in to double". (puzzle 3)
I was not able to follow her. Knowing my face she said that she will ask one puzzle and if i answer it,she will explain every thing
in detail.
The puzzlle is : (puzzle 4) A cap in the top and a cap in the bottom, a burning candle in-between. what is that ?
Can any one help me in solving all the puzzle.

#1 she is cooking the vegetable of sum tree nd is using the tree bark as firewood(mother tree,child-vegetable)
#2 her father has gone 2 bury a dead relative
#3 her mother is breaking dal pulses into 2 in her neighbours house or sumthin
#4 a cap on top-sky
cap on the bottom -the land
the light in between is the man's life

1. She was cooking a chicken and burning a goose..
2. Her father had gone to a construction site to dig out the soil..
3. Her mother had gone to teach in a school and pass on the knowledge to many children.. From herself to the children.. But that would be many times more.. Oh I dunno..
4. A lantern..

Puzzle 1= She's cooking eggs and burning chicken.
Puzzle 2= Her father is dead.
Puzzle 3= Her mom is in the hospital giving birth.
Puzzle 4= The light will be on as in "Eureka! Now I get it."(The lit lantern.)
