So like the cable is like cut...there is no twisty thingy....theres just the cable with the metal thing in the TV =|

Go to Radio Shack and get some "F" connectors (the 'twisty thingy'). Get the one with instructions on the back or have the sales clerk show you how to attach them.

You can cut the end off - then trim back the outer insulation 1/8 inch. You must be VERY careful that the outer foil/braid does not touch the center wire. They sell special strippers to do this, but you can do it with fine wire cutters or a sharp utility knife.

Shove on the F connector and fold the braid/foil over the outer part. Crimp the ring on with pliers - but dont deform the cable.

Or - just go get a hank of pre-terminated CATV coax and replace your broken part.

Or - call your CATV company. They will come out and replace your connectors.
