Well, I don't have my scriptures here, nor do I feel like getting them, lol. But I can tell you that I have yet to find a scripture in the Book of Mormon that I can't cross reference to the Bible.

There are much better answers to this than what I'm going to write, but I am going to add this anyhow.
We are taught that in the mouths of two or three witnesses may we know the truth of all things. So what other witness of Jesus Christ is there? There is no other sacred text besides the Bible and the Book of Mormon which teaches of His divinity.
I had an institute teacher who described the Book of Mormon this way:
It's not a book about Jesus Christ. It is a volume written in His image.
It mirrors all the generations of time.

I find that having the Book of Mormon helpful.
Think of it this way. You have the Bible. It is the writings of ONE set of people in ONE part of the world. So, lets give it One point on a graph. Now...from this point, you can go any direction. And, looking at Christianity in general, they go every direction imaginable.
Now, take the Book of Mormon, it is written by a SECOND set of people, and a Second part of the world. So, we give it a second point on our graph. Now that we have 2 points, we have a direction in which to go...our choices are no longer chaotic and infinite...but we now have a clear path. Add in the Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine and Covenants, and Living Prophets, it pretty much makes the path bright and shinny and hard to miss.
I don't believe that God wants us confused. By giving us the Book of Mormon, He has shown us the direction to go to no longer be confused.
To answer your question, the Book of Mormon clears up confusion on various topics...including:
How Grace and Works fit together.
How Justice and Mercy fit together.
Validates that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God.
Validates that God knows and loves ALL of His children and not just the ones in the Old World.
Validates that God is in control.
Validates that God has a plan.
Why good things happen to bad people and why bad things happen to good people.
Roll and importance of Free agency.
Gives us warnings and insights into what is happening here and now today, and how to deal with it.
AND much much more.

The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and therefore, it could only be given to us by God, thru His living prophets, specifically, Joseph Smith Jr. If Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, then God can speak to His church, thru the prophet. So, if there is any dispute over the interpretation of a Verse of the Bible, then the prophet can tell us what GOD says is the answer.
This is one way.

For me, it has validated the supremacy and the Kingship of Jesus Christ. It has shown me why it is not enough to simply exercise lip-service and faith in Jesus and that Heavenly Father raised Him from the dead. It has answered questions concerning many things found by archeologist in this hemisphere. I now understand why as Christians we must " be doers of the Word and not hearers only. This is my testimony, that I believe that the LDS Church is true and I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord.

It doesn't - it more often contradicts it. I guess you didn't like the answers to the other question about that.
