My brother-in-law told me that there are American soldiers there killing gurillas there. NOT gorillas

Yes that is true. My plt sgt in the marine corps was from the philippines and right now they are fighting a gurilla war against muslim extremist. If there are any american military out there i would imagine that they are playing the part of "advisors" much like americans did before the onset of the vietnam war.

There are no U.S. troops involved. Some U.S. forces were in the Philippines to serve as trainers for the Filipino troops that were engaged in action against this terrorist group.

Yap that's true but the American soldiers are not involved in any killing. They just train the Filipino soldier how to stop terrorism...
