You should try the following:
NBA Live 08
FIFA 08
they are really good and the graphics are amazing for the PS3. Have fun!

You already have a ps3 then, you mean what games.
ok for games I trust only what i've played (including demos) not what I've heard
for sports games, EA's NCAA 08 is excellent, 2K's AllPro football is competent (it's cheap!) and I've never seen Madden so I can't comment but if it still includes his voice commentating, well I can't stand the guy.
hockey: EA's NHL 2008 is strong, but 2K's NHL 2K8 is the most like real hockey that I've ever seen. Including playing the puck along the boards, pinning your opponent there, etc.
There's a lot of good basketball games out there, I've played EA's which is good.
I've played the demo of MLB 2K7 and it was surprisingly good.
Now if you're gonna get any games besides sports, download Warhawk. ($40 plus $8 for the new addons)
people say cod4 is good but you may be more impressed with unreal tournament 3

No, unless you want the Blu-ray player. You can get better graphics and handling from a gaming PC. Especially if you like first person shooters. Even Halo is being brought to the PC.

ok well you sould for sure open it. and games well if you like sports then madden 08, nba 08, fifa 08. but also call of duty 4 is amazing. assasins creed is also great. there are not as much as xbox yet but they are on there way! so open it and join the club.

yep!!!armydude the 360 suks not the ps3 and jack he just said he wanted SPORTS games...he didn't mention shooters

yes NBA08,madden, 08 , assassin's creed, call of duty 4, kane & lynch (of course all these are also on the fixmeBOX) oooooooooooo also ps3 got this tight game comin out exclusive called eight days............... o my it looks off the chains
