Well in Islam there is a saying "don't hate something, less it be good" So i was moved to another school that's 2 hours away from my house, and i tried my best not to be pissy about it and a few months later i discovered that it was better than the other school i was in. It's a test, so if something happens and we FREAK OUT, that's not very good..We never know what the reason is untill after, and it's always "ahhh i get it now" man i wish i didn't freak, i have learned my lesson. Life is just a big test, but make sure you enjoy it

I think it's funny when football players thank God for them winning the Super Bowl, as if he were sitting up above cheering them on. Just one time I would love to see someone blame God for being on the losing team. Why does there have to be a reason? Sh*t happens good and bad. You make your own path. You make the choices that set in to motion either negative or positive results. Sometimes things are out of your control, but that doesn't mean that there is some great plan that it falls into. Explain to me the reason for children getting abused by priests. What did God mean when he "allowed" that to happen?

Alot of things are random. Some things seem to have a reason or purpose. Doesnt mean it's Bible God or Vishnu or any proper noun. It happens. You can find patterns in meaninglessness. I doubt Order underlies all things, but something's there, even if it's just us seeing pictures in clouds.

It's called beliefs. Some believe, some don't. No one should try to force that belief onto others just because one feels so strongly one way or the other. Respect that belief and move on to the next subject.
There's little difference in the convictions of either side as to the passion of those beliefs yet it seems so hard to share mutual respect in such a strong belief.

A big part of belief is personal preference -- people believe that which they prefer to be true. (Can't remember who said that.) Nobody believes (for example) that his chosen investments are likely to tank, otherwise he wouldn't have made those investments to begin with. The fact that such a belief will have absolutely no effect on the market is quite beside the point, so far as the believer is concerned.

People believe what they want and what works for them.
To each his own.
So what does it matter? If your beliefs don't harm others....keep on believing.

We live in a world where it is okay to believe whatever you want to believe. I think that it is okay for you not to believe in God and i think that you should be okay if i want to believe in God it isn't as if my believing is hurting you.
