They actually got safer after 9/11. I believe, statistically speaking, the last few years have been the safest in commercial aviation history, in the United States at least.

Chase a valium with a martini or two and you'll be just fine

The old airline mechanics saying is... if you did as much inspection and maintenance on your car as the airlines do on each aircraft...you would never have to buy a new car. Terrorist will never attack an airliner again, because we as a county are expecting that. You have a better chance of getting poisoned by your local water supply than you do of being the victim of a hijacking. Travel time from LGA to MIA is 3hrs.

i agree with the 1st guy. this is probably just paranoia u r feeling. that's how planes actualy become safer for the future: the manufacturers and owners of the plane learn from the mistakes they have commited and improve their aircraft for safer travel in the future. try to relax and i hope u hav a safe, wonderful vacation. =)

very safe...You are more likely to be killed on the way to the airport......

The ride is approx. 3 hrs from New York to Florida (if no stopovers)

Yes, they are safe; and statistically you'll be safer on the plane ride than you would be in your car.

You determine how safe it is by praying, and believing, and saying "i'm gonna have a safe flight in the name of Jesus". Hope that helped!!!!

p.s. if you don't believe me, try it.
