Wow the show of ignorance on here is absolutely depressing

Apparently all those thousands of trained scientists all over the world for the past large number of decades are just making it all up. I just wonder whats holding them back from them or some creationist proving it and thus getting one those nobel awards.

Either that or just so completely incompetent (despite of their degrees) that the entire theory of evolution can be over turned by people who don't even understand it.

I mean really that's what you're saying - thousands of scientists are lying or completely incompetent - to point that untrained school kids can completely destroy the theory

You'll excuse me if I'm not convinced.

As for the appendix being being labeled a "useless organ," only the Answers in Genesis goofs called it that, setting up another straw man to abuse. The organ was called vestigial (not useless) because of its atrophied size and diminished effectiveness. Similar organs in other animals served to help digest cellulose. Since there's not a lot of cellulose in Whoppers and Big Macs, humans have lost the need for appendices. Generally, we figure out we have an appendix after it bursts from infection. Poor design, perhaps? If it were a supreme who designed this organ, He was slacking off that day. It's a good thing that many people aren't born with them all. If the appendix is so important, why were the poor slobs that missed their opportunity at appendicitis not adversely affected?

Evolution means a change in allele frequencies in a population over time. That's all it means. If you have ever heard of a penicillin-resistant strain of strep throat, or seen a pure-bred dog, or noticed that people from one part of the world tend to look alike - these are all examples of evolution in action.

Hi...

In the Industrial Revolution, in Manchester England...

Scientists noticed that the trees were getting darker with the pollution....
A moth that inhabited these trees also became darker, born darker so as to still be camouflaged!

This is a good example of Evolution at work!!

The alternative is a 'faith' in a fictitious mythical man-made deity!!!

You choose!!!!

Plenty of scientific evidence to support evolution.

The only reason why people object to evolution is due to their lack of understanding but also their opposition to science which is clearly demonstrated by several comments made against evolution.

Oh and that silly site drdino.com has nothing to back it up

that statement you constantly make with the professor is the stupidest statement I have ever read. Pointless and meaningless

Geology shows that fossils are of different ages. Paleontology shows a fossil sequence, the list of species represented changes through time. Taxonomy shows biological relationships among species. Evolution is the explanation that threads it all together.

Jesus girl. That story is so old and full of holes I'd be ashamed to post it.

You're one of these theodiots that don't know the difference between hypothesis and theory, aren't you?

Also, If you have problems regarding evolution, posit them in the science area.

Asking this question in R&S makes you look foolish and reeks of intellectual dishonesty.

You demonstrate that your problem with evolution isn’t the process itself rather that it clashes with your ideology, thus your search for answers is stifled before the question even leaves your lips.

Simple.
All varieties of dog alive today have evolved from the grey wolf..
All varities of cultivated apple have evolved from the wild apple and new varieties are still being created.
These are changes over a very short period of time.
Over millions of years the changes are much more dramatic.

You look a little silly demanding "proof" of evolution in order to make an argument for your beliefs... of which there is no proof.

Evolutionists have constructed the Geologic Column in order to illustrate the supposed progression of "primitive" life forms to "more complex" systems we observe today. Yet, "since only a small percentage of the earth's surface obeys even a … portion of the geologic column…the claim of their having taken place to form a continuum of rock/life/time…over the earth is therefore a fantastic and imaginative contrivance." "The lack of transitional series cannot be explained as being due to the scarcity of material. The deficiencies are real, they will never be filled."This supposed column is actually saturated with "polystrate fossils" (fossils extending from one geologic layer to another) that tie all the layers to one time-frame. "To the unprejudiced, the fossil record of plants is in favor of special creation."
