He likes apples, and they get to bruised when they fall that far. He tendancy for pie means we have to burn in hell. I hope there's pie there.

It had nothing really to do with the fruit, it was man's obedience to his Creator.
Would Adam and Eve be integrity keepers to God who gave them life and all other things.

First of all, we don’t know if the tree was bigger, it probably wasn’t. God only put the tree there so the freshly human race could be tested on loyalty. In one side you had Satan saying that they could not follow God’s commands, on the other side, you have God saying that love would prevail…

It'll be the same like asking why didn't God create people who would be perfect? He wants to give us a choice, a freedom, so that when we believe in him, it's not just because we are forced to, but because he is good.

i say, even if you put the candy on the top shelf of the closet, behind the shoe boxes and wrapped in old underwear, the kid's going to find it and eat it. genesis is either ignorant of human nature, or god is cruel.
