My cousin chopped all of my hair off while I was sleeping...it looks hideous, especially in the back...very chopped up in the back and looks awful...how should I go about growing it out long again? Information is greatly appreciated.

I guess what i'm asking is should I let my hair grow out in spite of it being very chopped up in the back, or should I go ahead and get it straightened out now and then let it grow?

if your cousin really did this to you, i would definitely make him/her or his/her parents buy you extensions or something that is terrible!
if there's no possible way that's going to happen, i would say go to a salon and get it fixed. i'm sure they could do something cute with it.
as for making your hair grow take a multi-vitamin. =] good luck.

Is your cousin a kid or something? Seriously--what the freak?!
Anyway, you're gonna be fine. Straight hair is very versatile and easy to wear through the growing-out-stage (you don't have to deal with poofiness).
You should definitely go to a good salon (not a beauty school) and have it evened out. Yeah, they'd probably have to make it even shorter, but trust me, its worth it. *Then* you can grow it back to its regular length.
PS--If you don't want a pixie cut, you could always ask them to even out the back (even *if* they have to cut it *really* short) but leave the front as long as possible. Or you could get the back as short as needed and have the front pieces cut in the style of a graduated bob.
APS--Regular bobs are OK. Graduated bobs are amazing, and ideal for straight hair. ^_^

Why dont you get your barber to tidy it as much as the dimensions that's now? You in no way be attentive to,you are able to ok like it,and your gf ought to too.replace is often sturdy, even for a jointly as.I certainly have long hair (im a woman tho) and that i desperate to cut it perfect to my chin final 12 months.I enjoyed the recent style yet i ignored my long hair advert now its all grown decrease back.I dont be apologetic approximately having that adjust for somewhat!

get it cut by a professional so it looks decent. Then let it grow until it's however long you like it. Sorry there is no magic cure. Make sure you make your cousin pay for the hair cut by the way.

Get it shaped up and styled. That way you don't have to walk around in a hat all the time until its long again! I take a multi vitamin, drink lots of water and get regular trims to keep my hair growing in healthy strong and long! Good luck!
