Because no one has ever bothered to correct them. They're beautiful so why should manners or personality matter? I'll pick a below average person with a beautiful soul over a drop dead gorgeous person with nothing upstairs. Ever noticed that if an unattractive girl is b!tchy that people tend to say "Oh she's ugly, she's got nothing going for her so what does she have an attitude for? It's not like she can get away with it because she's hot". It really repulses me how people go out of their way for "better looking" individuals.

I thing they are just as friendly as any other girl. You seam to be friendly. Friendliness is an individual thing. I know and have known just as many friendly pretty girls as any other girls. I have met a lot of other girls that were unfriendly. There are a lot of unfriendly people in this world. It does not matter if they are beautiful, pretty or not so pretty, rich or poor, black or white, young or old. It all depends on the individual.

They already have what they want and can get their way. Therefore, they don't care what people think about them. Either that or they are afraid other people are prettier than them, so they put the people who aren't too attractively looking down. But this doesn't mean everyone who is pretty is mean or unfriendly. It all depends on the person. Guys truly go for personality. Of course image is the first thing they want, but if she doesn't have the personality, there's really no point. =)

I don't think they are more likely to be unfriendly. I know a lot of pretty people who are very friendly and a lot of not so pretty people who are really rude all the time.
Although I will notice that when I'm friendly to men (like just smiling and saying hello) they immediatly hit on me maybe pretty girls are unfriendly because they are sick of being hit on.. just a thought.

Because they know they are pretty. Everyone is after them. The world is at their feet. They feel powerful.
Everyone wants that 2" furry real estate it is their prized posession.
So, they have a chip on their shoulder. They have this attitude. That's why they are unfriendly.
It is the chase where there is fun. After you get the prey, it is like the next one. OH, well...........

They r unfriendly b/c they let it get to their heads they're pretty. SOme pretty girls are nice, but in general they just think they're better and they are only thinking of what they can do 4 them to be even more better than every1

Because they believe they are pretty and at a young age, look is power to girls. They take their beauty as a sign that they are superior and use it in the form of intolerance and crudeness towards others. However, this is only for some people. And it is not about pretty girls but girls who believe the world belongs to them. It can be anyone, really, that is mean for no reason.

Okay, I am so totally against this question. How unfair can you get? What a stereoytype! Just like people automatically stereotype guys with long hair or single mothers or girls with glasses, you're stereotyping people that our society deems 'pretty' to be stuck-up, unfriendly bitches. How could you possibly do that and think it's ok? All these answers have bashed girls that were born with what society believes to be good looks. And before you ask, yes, I've been told my whole life that I'm pretty, yes, I'm blonde, and no, I've never been like the girls in Mean Girls. In fact, one of my best friends, who I've known since we were 9, was one of the most unpopular girls in school through 8th grade. Did I stick by her? Absolutely. And let me tell you, whenever we have someone new in one of my classes, I am one of the first people to say hi and introduce myself and everyone I know.
Also, I'd just like to say that it struck me right before I was about to type how great my gorgeous friends are too, that the more you get to know someone, and the nicer they turn out to be, the prettier they seem to you. Just something for you to think about. Have a nice weekend.

I don't think that that's necessarily true, people who are "good looking" I find are usually more approachable... on the other hand, slutty girls I personally believe are more likely to be unfriendly. I don't know why, but they always just give off that vibe.

There are a lot of beautiful young actresses and models (sans makeup) who rent homes on the coastline here and I have yet to meet one that is unfriendly, stuck up or full of themselves.
Naturally pretty girls don't have to act like a putz!
