Firstly, you need to clarify details before determining what the problem is. How do you know she has inflamed ovaries? How do you know they are bigger than normal? Dogs do not have the same reproductive tract as us, instead they have uterine horns rather than ovaries. Usually inflammation of the uterine horns, or other reproductive organs is determined by a vet through palpation and an ultrasound. Inflammation in the abdominal region could be caused by a number factors, so it is important that you visit your vet to diagnose accurately. If their is inflammation of the uterine horns it could be due to being in season - is she desexed? How old is she? Depending on the age of your dog, she may be going through her first season (usually around 6 mths depending on the breed). Your vet will be able to clarify any concerns you may have, and ensure that there are no infections, blockages or other problems. Good luck!

Um, I'm not sure what you're describing, but I can assure you that they are NOT her ovaries. Ovaries are part of the internal reproductive tract, laying just above the uterus, and are NOT visible except when the abdomen has been opened for surgery. So, unless you are performing surgery on your dog or you have access to ultrasound and have been imaging your dog there is no possible way that you could know if her ovaries are enlarged.
Maybe you mean her mammary glands (nipples) or vulva? These external parts of the reproductive tract can become enlarged from estrus (heat), pregnancy, infection, false pregnancy, or even cancer. If you aren't sure what's wrong with her, you should take her to the vet.

is this a persistent undertaking or did this merely ensue? If it merely befell then: this could be bloat that's a scientific EMERGENCY! Air/foodstuff/Water gets in the tummy and can't come out the two end and the tummy blows up like a drum. The dogs seems hectic, can salivate, can refuse to bypass. this could nicely be a scientific EMERGENCY. super canines with deep chests are maximum companies yet different canines can strengthen this besides. the tummy may additionally twist - gastric torsion and volvulus - inflicting tissue dying. This demands surgical technique and particular tacking the tummy with a view to maintain it from happening back. it is deadly and you're able to wish topersistent immediately on your nearest emergency vet.

You got xray eyes or something? You cannot possibly see that her ovaries are swollen. You might want to give up the psychic stuff and talk to your vet if you think there is a problem.

You can't SEE ovaries unless you cut the dog open. Whatever it is that you are seeing, you need to bring her to a vet.
Please, in the future, don't WAIT a week if you think there is something, anything, wrong with your pets. Bring them to a vet as soon as you can. Pets are TOTALLY dependent on you, they can't bring themselves to the doctor, they need YOU to be responsible for them.
Good luck.

If you can see her overies, she needs to go to the vet, considering they lie inside the dog.
