I would think it was your WONDERFUL sister that gets a pie from a bakery?

Peach Pie

2 unbaked pie shells
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 1/2 cups drained canned peaches
1/4 cup peach syrup
3 tablespoons cinnamon red cinnamon candies (optional)
1 teaspoon butter

Mix sugar, cornstarch and peach syrup in saucepan, over medium heat.
Stir constantly until thickened.
After thickening, boil for 1 minute, more.
Pour hot syrup over drained peaches, in bowl.
Add cinnamon red hots and then pour into pie shell.
Add butter on top of peaches.
Cover with second pie shell.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated 425 degree oven.

French peach pie

INGREDIENTS
1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
1 (15 ounce) can sliced peaches, juice reserved
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice


DIRECTIONS
Drain peaches, reserving 2/3 cup of syrup. Stir together pudding mix, milk, sour cream, and almond extract for 2 minutes, until very smooth. Pour filling into pie shell. Chill for 10 minutes.
Arrange peach slices in a nice pattern over custard in pie shell.
In a small saucepan, mix together reserved peach syrup and corn starch. Bring to a boil, and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in lemon juice. Pour glaze over peaches. Chill until set. Serve.

Peaches N Cream Pie

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 (3 ounce) package non-instant vanilla pudding mix
3 tablespoons butter
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 1/2 cups canned sliced peaches, syrup reserved
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon



DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Drain peaches and reserve the syrup; set aside.
Combine flour, pudding mix, margarine, egg, and milk; beat well. Pour into a greased 8 or 9 inch pie pan. Arrange drained peaches on top of mixture, just to edges.
Cream together softened cream cheese, sugar, and 3 tablespoons reserved peach syrup. Spoon mixture carefully on top of peaches, just to edges. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes. Do not over bake.

INGREDIENTS:
4 eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups sliced fresh or frozen peaches
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
powdered sugar

PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat eggs well; add 2 cups sugar and the oil, beating until well blended. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder; beat into egg and oil mixture alternating with orange juice.Blend in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, toss the sliced peaches (and pecans, if using) with 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon. Pour about one-third of the batter into a greased, and floured tube pan. Layer one-half peach mixture over it. Cover with another one-third of batter and the remaining peach mixture. Spread remaining batter over the last layer. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake 10 minutes in pan; turn out onto a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
