1) I am a praying man, and it DOES bring peace that passes understanding.
2) Calling a loved one on the phone will cheer you.
3) Eat healthy, get your rest, and exercise to stay at your peek!
4) Exercise releases pharamones that make you happy, as well as healthy, and changes your metabolism to help you lose weight too.
5) Take a walk
6) Take a bath
7) Read if it is relaxing to you
8) Cuddle with your loved one
9) Pet your pet.
10) Play the "glad game", counting your blessings! There is a saying "I was sad that I had no shoes, until I saw a man with no feet"!
Do something for others, and refocus on loving your fellow man, rather than depressing yourself with self centered sulking.
It is not what happens to you, but how you react to what happens to you. Depression is a bad CHOISE!!! Chose an attitude of gratitude.
Praise God!
When you break a bone, it is stronger at the break when you heal. What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger, if I learn from my mistakes.
God turns our scars into stars. when we refuse to mope. Time heals all wounds, but ONLY if we don't pick at it and get it infected.

Laughter. A good joke, funny movie, cute story told by a friend, even coming to yahoo answers and looking at the jokes & riddles section. I've been p'd off a few times and somehow came across one of those jokes and I had to laugh. I'm not saying it's a cure but it did lighten the mood a notch.

Get outdoors; go somewhere natural and beautiful, breathe fresh air, put my hands in the earth and do some gardening, swim in the vast ocean... helps put things in perspective. Reminds me of the bigger picture-- the beauty of life-- and that my problems are just temporary and surmountable.

Helping someone else or making someone else happy. It gets me out of concentrating on myself. And I like the feeling of helping others--even if all I do is listen.

Playing with the kiddos, being with my family, going out and doing anything to get my mind off of it, going to the gym.
