Read too many info about Hep and it doesn't say if you can get it by their spit, linens or hugging them. Any answers would be helpful. Even the mean remarks is welcomed.

No, hepatitis A is transmitted through the fecal/ oral route (an infected person can transmit it by not washing their hands after a bowel movement, then prepares food. The people who eat the food get infected. It is often spread in restaurants this way.)
Hep B (HBV) is transmitted through sex (vaginal secretions and semen) as well as blood to blood contact).
Hep C (HCV) is transmitted by blood to blood contact only.
Any of these forms of hepatitis are not transmitted by hugging, sleeping on someone's linens, or through saliva.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.

No.

Hep C is contracted from blood to blood. Like a transfusion or sharing needles.

Many combat veterans who were injured in Vietnam came in contact with other soldiers blood while in route to a hospital in the medi-vac choppers. My husband who was in combat was thrown on top of a guy who had lost a leg. My husband was bleeding from a grenade blast.

All wounded combat veterans should be tested for Hep C.

About 15% of all people who contract Hep C has an anti-body that kills the virus. My husband is one of those people.

I contracted Hep C from my husband during our 12 1/2 years of meth use.

I have read stories on the internet where there are those trying to get the government to recognize where the veterans contracted Hep C.

Search on the internet and if you have a wounded combat veteran family member have them checked for Hep C.

Not sure which Hep you are referring to because there are many different kinds, but I do know that Hep C is passed only from blood to blood contact. Meaning their blood would have to come in contact with your blood for there to be a possibility of contracting it. I'm not very knowledgeable about the other Heps, so I'll keep my answer directed only to Hep C.
