Why would God resort to clues as opposed to unabashed factual evidence?

The Catholic church has been peddling that item for years claiming that its the image of Christ and Carbon dating proved it was 1200 years old.Not older. Since then the Church has stopped all testing on it..Go figure.

Just ANOTHER relic the Catholic church can make money on by sending it around the world and or attracting paying pilgrims. Like they do with bones and burned toast.

It's a fake. Belief in God, Jesus and the resurection is about faith. The whole point is that there's no proof.

It doesn't agree with the Biblical account of what Jesus' burial clothes looked like, so I am guessing that it is fake.
