i obsess about it and then i asked my mom and she said my hair looks perfectly fine.
btw my hair is kinda thick and has natural wave.
is it possible that my hair could be that awful after one day or is it just my ocd (YES i have ocd).

I have thich & wavy hair too. My hair is always "greasy looking". My mom told me it's because I mess with it too much. The more you touch or brush your hair, the greasier it gets. Straightening to makes it worse for me.

Yes it could be greasy after one day. You may have naturally oily hair. Talk to your hairdresser for tips on shampoo or conditioner that can help. You may not need to use condition every time you shampoo. But tell your hairdresser and next time you go for haircut don't wash hair for a day and then let them look at it to see if it really is oily or your ocd. Good Luck!!

Yes or maybe if you tend to itch your head a lot that could happen(and an overly itchy head could be dry scalp). You might want to lay off putting your conditioner near your scalp try putting it on the ends of your hair. I have that same problem with having greasy hair in like one day. Its not good to wash your hair too much though. It could very well be your ocd though.

If your finding your hair is greasy try using a different shampoo, Brush it less often because the oils from your hair come out when you brush it more( natural oils dont worry) aand only put conditioner on the bottom half of your head. And use shapoo every where then use conditioner! IF THIS DOESNT HELP SORRY!

I also have an oily scalp, there are a few options

1) use Paul Mitchell Away Shampoo to cleanse away products (i.e. gel, hair sprays ect.)

2) Mix baking soda with your shampoo once a week to cleanse away excess products.

3) condition less often, perhaps every other time your wash your hair.

4) condition from the "pony tail" down, do add conditioner directly to your scalp.

Well, one way to get rid of oily hair without stepping foot in the shower is to use dry spray shampoo. This cleans and absorbs the oil in your hair with no water needed. Oscar Blandi makes a really good one. Heres a link!

wash it and mix your shampoo with some baking soda and scrub really good let set for five minutes then rinse then use your conditioner and let that set for 5 minutes . the baking soda will strip all the old oil out so your hair can be healthy and not greasy good luck .

1] use shampoo for oily hair
2] rinse twice as much
3] don't use conditioner - or use it ONLY on shafts/ends of hair
4] scrub all combs/brushes with shampoo and a nail brush at least once a week
