i often have a dream where i am trying to get up to walk around, but i am physically unable to get up off my knees and walk.

it's not that i don't want to, it's more like i can't in my dreams.

what does this mean? in real life, i often have problems standing up for myself, so is this related to it?

It's possible that the two are related. The mind makes up all sorts of things while we're sleeping. I often have trouble getting myself to do things in dreams that I know should be easy. It's mostly running when I'm being chased, my feet just feel frozen and too heavy. It might be the way you resist things in your life coming out in your dreams. Sometimes I think that our rational heads try to make our dream selves do things when we should just sit back and let whatever happen, happen. You can't be hurt in a dream, there's no reason to try to interfere with the natural order of things. Let you dream take you where it wants. You may be surprised when you find out what your subconsious really wants.

I would say thats a pretty good call on your dream interpretation

dream interpretation is hard to do unless you know a bit about a person's "awake" life and whats going on in it

Probably not. Try to program yourself to look around in your dream and see what's going on. I have recurring dreams that are so interesting and for many different reasons. They sure get me to thinking. . .and wondering. . .

Your tired or overworked mentally or physically.[under a lot of stress]

You feel you are losing control of a part of your life.[lost boyfriend/girlfriend,in some kind of trouble or debt etc]

You may be looking to start a new part of your life [school,,job, new home, etc] but things have been moving slow for you.
I'm sure everything will be OK.

EDIT.
I tried my best, I tried my best
I did my best, I did my best.
